　　英語勵志作文：生活的真諦

　　I really believe that happiness is the key of life. I've been asked so many times during interviews, when did I decide that I wanted to be a singer. I came to realize that I actually have never made that decision.

　　我真的認(rèn)為幸福是生活的關(guān)鍵所在。在我決定想成為一名歌手的時候，在多次的采訪中也被問到這個問題。我開始意識到，其實我從來就沒有作出要當(dāng)歌手這個決定。

　　The only thing I actually always wanted to be was "happy." It happens that part of my being happy is singing and performing.

　　其實我一直都想讓自己活得“幸福快樂”。碰巧唱歌和表演是我幸?？鞓飞畹囊徊糠侄?。

　　What is happiness? For some is fame, for some is love, for some is money, for some is health. So, is happiness something we don't have? How can we be happy if to be happy we need something we don't have? There will always be something we don't have.

　　幸福是什么?有的人認(rèn)為是名聲，有的人認(rèn)為是愛情，有的人認(rèn)為是金錢，有的人認(rèn)為是幸福。這么說的話，幸福是我們所不具備的東西?當(dāng)我們的快樂需要建立在擁有自己沒有的東西時，我們要怎么才能快樂呢?然而總是存在那么一些東西是我們所沒有的。

　　I came to realize that they are happy not because they have all they want, but because they are passionate about something and that puts their mind in that state of happiness. They are happy because they do something they love. Because they are working on something they believe in.

　　我開始意識到他們能幸?？鞓凡皇且驗樗麄儞碛辛艘磺凶约合胍模且驗樗麄儗κ挛锍錆M激情，他們的想法總是處于幸福的狀態(tài)。他們幸?？鞓芬驗樗麄冏鲆恍┳约合矚g做的事情。因為他們對自己所做的事情充滿信心。

　　They are willing to take risks to pursue something. They don't mind to sacrifice something to get where they want to go and to do what they want to do. They are fearless. I've seen a lot of starving artists and dreamers being so happy in what you can call "misery" if measured in wealth.

　　他們愿意冒險去追求一些東西。他們不介意做出一些犧牲，去一個自己想去的地方，去做自己想做的事。他們無所畏懼。我看過很多如饑似渴的藝術(shù)家、夢想家活得如此幸福快樂，如果用財富來衡量的話，他們可謂是“窮光蛋”。

生活

　　Happy people often don't settle for a comfortable life. They are going for an exceptional life.

　　幸?？鞓返娜送粷M足于舒適的生活現(xiàn)狀。他們會追求一種別樣的生活方式。

　　They carve their own path and don't follow the crowed. They follow their heart. They follow their passion. They get highly criticized and widely loved with the same magnitude. Like for instance great humanitarian Mother Theresa she was loved and criticized during her life and after her death. She was a believer and she was happy because she was following her believes. And she was happy for that, so that she could even forget about her physical pain.

　　他們雕刻自己的生活軌跡而不隨波逐流，他們追隨著自己的內(nèi)心，他們滿懷熱情，遭受對等的嚴(yán)厲批判和廣泛愛戴。比如，偉大的人道主義者德蘭修女，她的生前和死后既受到世人的愛戴又受到眾人的指責(zé)批評。她是一名信徒，她因為有著自己的信仰而活得幸福快樂。而且她對自己的信仰感到幸福快樂，這樣，她甚至可以忘記自己身體上的疼痛。

　　Happiness is something we have to find within ourselves. Happiness should be the journey toward something we want not the end destination of that journey. I have big dreams and there are so many things I want to have and achieve. I'm happy because I'm working on having and achieving what I love.

　　幸?？鞓肥俏覀冃枰獜膬?nèi)心去挖掘的東西。幸福快樂應(yīng)該是一段追尋的旅程而不是旅程的重點。我有遠(yuǎn)大的理想，有很多東西我都想要去擁有和實現(xiàn)。我很快樂，是因為我正在奮斗，為了擁有和實現(xiàn)我想要的。

　　One of my idols is French singer Edith Piaff. She used to say "For me singing is a way of escaping. I'm not longer on earth."

　　我其中的一名偶像是法國歌手伊迪絲·琵雅芙。她曾說過，“對我來說，唱歌是我的一種解脫方式，仿佛隔絕了世界。”

　　That is essentially what music is for me. When I'm on a stage singing I'm in a perfect world, in a perfect state of mind. I'm basically happy.

　　對我來說，這就是音樂的本質(zhì)所在。當(dāng)我在舞臺上唱歌的時候，我活在一個完美的世界里，我的心理狀態(tài)非常美好，我很幸福很快樂。

　　It is incredible how we can forget about our pain and sorrows when we concentrate and we are doing something we love, something important that we really want to do. Even the most miserable day can be a happy day. I'm sure it has happen to you too.

　　我們是如何做到在集中精力去做些我們喜歡的事情、重要的事情、我們真正想做的事情時，可以全然忘記我們的痛苦和悲傷，這太不可思議了。即使是最悲催的一天也可以是最幸福的一天。我相信你也有過這樣的經(jīng)歷。

　　I remember watching them on stage one opening night. It was incredible: those dancers were so gracious and everything looked like it was easy, natural. Heavenly beautiful. Perfect.

　　我記得有一個夜晚我看過一場驚艷的演出：那些舞者端莊高雅、整個畫面輕盈自然，美好神圣、完美動人。
